Duong Lam Ancient Village Day Trip Private Tour

8.00 AM – 8.30 AM : Pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Duong Lam ancient village.

Depart from Hanoi, it is estimated around 1.5 hour drive toward West of Hanoi to reach the village which is well-known as an agricultural haven with a history spanning 1200 years.

Get a slightly walking tour along the peaceful ancient road leading to the village, contrasting the bustling streets of Hanoi with Duong Lam’s serene ambiance.

10.00 – 11.00 AM : Visit Mong Phu commune house, constructed in the mid-16th century, and traverse narrow alleys to discover the time-honored laterite traditional houses and brick pathways that define this enchanting village.

11: 30 AM: Heading to Mia Pagoda, nestled in another hamlet of Duong Lam, Until now, it is unclear when Mia Pagoda was built, but many scientists have suspected that the land of Duong Lam is the focal point in the intersection of highland and lowland, a gathering place of indigenous cultural currents to Buddhism, Brahmanism, Chinese cultures that weave the stages of everyday life thinking – a goodness-oriented mind. And, one highlight is Mia Pagoda.

12.00 PM : Having lunch in local-style at a 400-year-old house.

After lunch , walk around to the fields, gaining insights into the farming practices and local lifestyle of the farmers.

1.30 – 2.00 PM: Visit the temples of King Ngo Quyen and King Phung Hung, dedicated to two national heroes.

2.30 PM: Back to the village, passing through schools and local workshops.

3.00 PM : Before your return to Hanoi, make a final stop at a local family’s residence to engage in the craft of making rice straw puppets and Che Lam (rice cake), a specialty of the region.

4.30 PM : Closing a day tour exploring Duong Lam ancient village and our tour guide will drop you off at your hotel.
