We had a great experience
We met lots of amazing people amongst the locals and our local guide, Sua, was lovely and friendly. The homestay itself was also a great experience. At the time of our visit the rice fields were already harvested, but the landscape was still breathtaking. We loved the treks done. The only "difficult" thing was the fact that the tribe people from the villages will try to sell you their products and they can be very persistent; this can be at times a bit overwhelming, but still they were helpful during the treks (they will accompany you, along with the guide, along the path)
